  Zero-Downtime Migration

One of the major barriers to the successful replacement of a legacy EPOS system is the migration process. This includes:

  Data migration from legacy system to Maeko
  Implementation of new software and hardware at branches
  Training at branches
  Implementation of new software and hardware at head office
  Training at head office
  Confirmation that all existing business functions carried out by the Enterprise are covered
  Verification of data integrity

To minimise risk and reduce downtime for the enterprise to zero we have developed our Zero Downtime Migration Process. Zero Downtime Migration breaks the above migration process into individual parts. Each migration process is carried out and verified to be working before moving on to the next process. This means that there is a gradual and phased transfer of processes from the legacy system to Maeko. The pace this happens at, fast or slow, is decided by you the client.
