M Computer Technologies was founded in 1997 to develop EPOS and Enterprise Resource Planning Software which would be powerful yet easy to use. After 3 years of research and development our first beta version was launched in 2001. Since then our customer base has grown dramatically and we now have the well tried and established Maeko EPOS and Enterprise Resource Planning Suite with several thousand users across the country.
At M Computer Technologies our people are our major asset. Many members of the development team have years of experience and a depth of knowledge within the retail and distribution sector. We understand the processes within retail and distribution and we also understand that going forward our clients have challenges to meet in a highly competitive world. Our view is that many of these challenges have their solution in the implementation of effective systems, electronic and human. We take time to understand the changing requirements of the retail and distribution sector and carry out extensive research and development in process integration and implementation. Only after we have this understanding do we start to develop code as a solution.
Our implementation and support teams work closely with the development team to ensure that our clients are serviced effectively delivering them among other things cost savings, loss prevention, efficiency and profitability optimisation. We integrate and support only the latest proven technologies within areas such as EFT, Wireless, RFID and Biometrics to the Maeko Epos and Enterprise Resource Planning system.
We have a serious commitment to research and development and continue to build new modules and business functions that address the changing Retail and Distribution Environment and the new challenges it continues to present.
